Cheddar Cheese Biscuits like Red Lobster’s
2 cups bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup mild shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup butter
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1. Prehat oven to 425 F
2. Mix bisquick, milk and cheese
3, Drop by tablespoonfuls 2-3 inches apart on baking sheet
4. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes
5. In a saucepan, melt butter and garlic together, and pour over biscuits hot from the oven.
Before the mix was available on retail shelves, we had figured out how to make this mouth watering biscuits. Because of the preservatives in the retail version, we find that these easy-to-make, homespun variety, is well worth the effort in increased flavor.
