Gooey Butter Chocolate Cake

Gooey Butter Cake
Serves 48

Cake Ingredients:
3 chocolate cake mixes (We prefer Betty Crocker brand)
4 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla

Topping Ingredients:
4 eggs, beaten
2 – 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 stick butter, melted and cooled

Cake Directions:
Mix together according to instructions on the box, and press mixture into the bottom of a greased and floured hotel pan.

Topping Directions:
Pour the topping over the cake mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, until golden brown. Middle will be somewhat soft. Do not overly bake. With all the butter in this recipe it will easily burn on the bottom.
