1 (16 ounce) box Fettuccini noodles
½ green pepper, diced
1/3 cucumber, diced
1 (16 ounce) bottle Wishbone Italian Dressing
½ bottle McCormick’s Salad Supreme Seasoning
Cook Fettuccini according to package directions. Cool. Finely dice the pepper and cucumber. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl and refrigerate.
We got this recipe from my good friend, Lou Pierce. Years ago, Larry and I would go camping in Indiana with Lou and her husband, Bob. We always had a good time, fishing, boating, eating lots of great food, and telling tales around the camp fire at night. Lou would often bring this easy, but always delicious, dish. It’s great for picnics, too. I sometimes add finely chopped celery, red or orange bell pepper and/or black olives, just for a little variety. Use whatever you have on hand. It always tastes great!
